Important Information for Irish Customers
Customs & EU Import Charges
Since 1 July 2026, new EU customs rules affect orders coming into Ireland from outside the EU (including the UK, USA, China, and other non-EU countries).
| Charge | Details |
|---|---|
| €3 Customs Duty | Applies per distinct item in packages valued up to €150. |
| How it's charged | Either at checkout (if the seller uses IOSS) or on delivery by your courier. |
| Example | Ordering 3 different caps = €9 customs charge (€3 × 3 items). |
| VAT | Payable on the item cost + the €3 customs charge. |
Top Tip: Before completing your purchase, check the website's terms to see if customs charges are included at checkout. This way, you avoid surprise fees when your package arrives.
If you have any questions about customs charges on your ModaCaps order, please contact us—we're here to help.
Data Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to:
- Fulfil your orders
- Comply with tax and accounting laws
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
If you'd like us to delete your data, just let us know (subject to legal retention requirements).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. While no system is 100% secure, we're committed to safeguarding your information.
Children's Privacy
Our site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it promptly.
